Hi there,
Just finished watching the History Part 2 documentary about the Powerslave
tour on the Live After Death DVD,,
I was wondering is there anything like this for the Somewhere In Time tour
through to Adrian Smith leaving and beyond, with interviews and such?

Not as yet but I think there are plans to continue with these. As far as I
know there isn`t much decent quality footage available from the SiT tour so
I suspect the next DVD will be Maiden England with a documentary about the
late 80`s. Conjecture of course...it`s not likely to come out for a couple
of years at least.

Ok thanks..
The SiT tour was my first Maiden concert, which i went to on both nights..
I did manage to meet the guys too and get their autographs..
I was still at school at the time and was a bit overwhelmed at actually
meeting them and shaking their hands!!
I sort of lost track of them after Seventh Son with me starting work and all
that...

How about the Early Days DVD?
Has that got any good interviews and the like?

Early Days is excellent, it contains a documentary about the early history
of the band, lots of interviews from former members etc. Several live
gigs too, and promo videos. Good stuff all around.

The Early Days DVD is absolutely awesome, has some fascinating documentaries
with just about every old band member plus some really rare live footage.
It`s my favourite music DVD release ever ( although I still haven`t bought
LAD )!

...And they still haven`t released the old "12 wasted years" documentary.
Maybe next time?

Maiden have more DVDs in the pipeline than I can shake a stick at.
Maiden England, Live at Donington both 1992 and `2007, a Somewhere Back
On Tour DVD, the next history one...all being planned apparently.
